Before you get waxing
- exfoliate a few days before waxing
- make sure you grow hair to around a quarter-inch long, and don’t shave.
- take pain relievers if you need to.
- don’t do it on or near your period.
If this is your first time to get waxed, a patch test is used to find out if you are allergic to wax before it is applied.
You also need to be 10 min early for your appointment since this is a usually a special procedure.
It is a given that you will be exposing yourself when you ask for Hollywood waxing but this is not the time to feel awkward.

We cannot do hollywood waxing if you fall under any of the following categories:
- You have any kind of sunburn, laser burn, pustules or breakouts on the area to be waxed.
- You are diabetic. However, we can wax you if you supply a doctor’s note saying it’s okay for you to wax.
- If your bottom or other private parts are not clean (tmi?) they are not sanitary and based on the situation it is at our discretion whether to continue the service or send you to the loo with a wet wipe.

- use aloe or Aquaphor to soothe any irritation
- don’t exfoliate,
- don't swim
- don't use sunbed for 48 hours
- avoid tight clothing
- keep it up an clean
