More about
The mandelic peel is an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) based facial peel derived from bitter almonds, also known as a ‘superficial peel', which means it is one of the gentler chemical peels available on the market.
It is perfect for all skin types, especially those with sensitive skin leaving it with a beautiful healthy glow.
A mandelic peel can treat almost any skin conditions.
Can be done for acne, pigmentation even on darker skin tones, fine lines and wrinkles.
It’s often added to a deep cleansing facial to penetrate and treat inner breakouts.
It is specially dedicated to sensitive skin even with Rosacea.
The mandelic acid penetrates the skin helping remove dead skin on the surface that can lead to dull complexions, as well as fine lines.
Usually, there is no peeling after a Mandelic peel, but some more sensitive clients may experience flaking of dead skin cells after treatment.
During the treatment there may be a slight sensation of tingling or itching but all in an absolute comfort.
There is no downtime but a makeup application is not recommended for about 6 hours.
There is always a potential for any chemical peel including mandelic acid to irritate your skin.
It may result with slight burns in more sensitive areas, skin flaking or dry patches.
Mandelic peel:
- Rejuvenates and brighten the skin
- Gently exfoliates
- Even skin texture and tone
- Reduces appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
- Calms down breakouts and acne
- Reduces inflammation and breakouts caused by acne
A series of mandelic peels will provide longer lasting results.
We advise 3-4 sessions every 4 weeks and maintenance sessions every 4-6 months.
